Westwide Contracting Co Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable Carpentry Apprentice to join our growing team in the Pilbara. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Certificate III in Carpentry with a well-established, family-owned business.

Westwide Contracting Co Pty Ltd is a family-owned and operated building company with over 11 years of industry experience, delivering high-quality construction services across the Pilbara region for the past 7 years.

As a small and dedicated team, we take pride in our hands-on approach and strong attention to detail. We work across both residential and commercial projects, offering a supportive environment where apprentices can learn directly from experienced tradespeople.

As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will work alongside qualified carpenters and gain practical experience across a variety of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting qualified carpenters with general construction and carpentry tasks
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials under supervision
• Helping with framing, fixing, and finishing work
• Loading, unloading, and organising tools and materials on site
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

Essential Attributes:

• Punctual and reliable, with the ability to arrive on site on time every day
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour

Desirable:

• Driver’s licence (preferred but not essential)

• Gain experience across a wide range of residential and commercial projects
• Learn from an experienced, supportive team
